Tom Knott

Tom Knott has his degree in Business and Marketing from Ryerson University. He has over thirty years experience in various sales, marketing, logistics, and management positions within the packaged goods industry, including consumer and health care brands. He specializes in building brands, new business, cyber marketing, and logistics issues for the Canadian market. Tom began his career as medical sales representative, and progressed rapidly to senior management. This includes but is not limited to, VP/General Manager - Revlon Canada, Director of Logistics and Sales - Tampax, and VP Sales - Whitehall Laboratories. Prior to joining Pangaea Consultants, Tom was partner and part owner of one of Canada’s largest Cosmetic Distributors - Bathurst Sales. He is active in trade associations, and a founding Director, eventual chairman of CWDA (the Canadian Wholesale Drug Association), the CFBA (Canadian Food Brokers Association), the CGDI (Canadian grocery Distributors Institute) and participated in courses, and lecturing on “Selling Techniques” at both Ryerson University, and Sir Sanford Fleming Community College. Tom currently specializes in bringing, and developing brands in Canada, and brings to Pangaea Consultants a strong working knowledge of the Canadian retail environment, regulations, packaging, logistics, marketing, and selling issues.
